Here sit all the plant babies....
There are over 200 of them. Each of the full black trays has 72 plants and I think I started 3.5-4 trays a month or so ago. Three quarters of these plants need to be repotted into larger containers, but as you can see we are out of room and out of grow light space.
Here sits our greenhouse....
Partially finished and now missing a window which was blown off last night in our winter storm/wind advisory. I know it doesn't look like that much snow, but imagine it with winds maybe 50-60mph (guess?). The wind was (is still) strong enough to blow off a window attached with a 2 inch brad nailer. Guess we should have taken the time to do some finish work on the green house and permanently attach the windows with screws. We learned our lesson.
Here is the result of our trip to the Wal-Mart $5 movie bin while suffering from seasonal affective disorder (coincidence the acronym spells SAD)? .....
Here's the part where I confess we purchased 5 movies, rented 2 from Redbox before we found the $5 bin, and got one in the mail from Netflix (that makes 8).
Do I need to repeatedly state that this has been the longest winter EVER and we are ready for it to be over? I know it snows other places this time of year too, but not like this, and not with rain the rest of the week, and not after working for five days of rain looking forward to a weekend where you can be in your yard and having your hope squashed. At this time last year we planted our garden 16 days from now, had plants in our greenhouse for a month, had planted some flower beds, and had tulips blooming. They say if you have a late spring you will have a longer fall (hopefully not snow starting Sept. 22). Let's hope "they" are right.
