Hi Everyone,
I have been meaning to get this up and running for a while now. I hope to keep in touch better with you all and I think this seems like a very effective way to do that. So here's what's been going on recently...I have been at my job for about 2 months and things are going well. I like it a lot, and getting a regular paycheck is a nice change. Eric has been working for a friend here fixing trucks from the oil field. So far, our summer has been occupied with fishing for Walleye at Lake Sakakawea (yes, that is how they pronounce it here, not Sacajawea like everywhere else), a lot of golf at the two public courses in the area, house hunting and purchasing (we close on the 28th), and learning all about what there is to offer here in North Dakota. It has been exciting so far. I got here on June 2nd and we had fugitives from an Alabama prison drive through town and have a shootout with the police from a detached garage in a neighboring town. The day after, we woke up to a few inches of snow on June 6th, and had a tornado here on July 8th. I have experienced a demolition derby, and been going to the great rec center here for spinning and gym time. Stay tuned, there is more to come soon...
