We had a busy day yesterday and got a lot of yard work done. I hit some garage sales in the AM but not many finds. It was supposed to rain so we mowed and fertilized the grass so it will kill dandelions and grow more real grass. We also had someone come look at stump removal and seem to have gotten a deal for 17 stumps which will be taken out in the next few weeks. It will be nice to mow the lawn without our eyes glued to the ground. I decided to get some plants in the ground too., not only because we are running out of room, but because I am getting anxious waiting for the end of May. Chops had fun stealing all the brancheswe were cleaning and chasing the robin's in our yard. He has yet to catch another one. Harry woodpeckers have also taken a liking to our trees. Maybe chops can catch those so we aren't woken up every day with pecking. Upcoming plans are to round up the garden plot and till it under so I can start early carrots, beets, and radishes. Cucumbers are all sprouted and growing and am starting lettuce soon.
