Update

It's a busy few weeks and blogging has taken a backseat. Our never ending to-do list now includes putting up some new blog posts. I'm working on that but in the mean time here's what we've been doing (in bullet point form because it's just easier).



* After the kitchen plumbing we tried to clean and organize for some of Eric's friends from Colorado to visit the weekend before Thanksgiving.

* Pheasant Hunting south of town with little luck and a sick baby chops...again. We are waiting for some genetic testing from the vet to see if she figured out what's wrong. He's doing better now.

* A giant snow storm the week of Thanksgiving changed our life from fall to winter instantly and it hasn't melted or stopped snowing since so we've been shoveling, digging out winter clothes from the basement, and figuring out the propane garage heater. Winter smacked us in the face and we weren't quite ready.

* Eric's family visited for Thanksgiving and we tiled the kitchen floor and cooked a lot. I had to work almost every day they were here (sad face) so that I will be able to take time off at Christmas to go home. We had a great time and were sad to see them go. I also tried my first deep fried turkey and it was goood.

We are getting the Christmas stuff out, heading back to the gym, and have decided to relax for a while (hard wood floors will wait until spring.) I will get some pictures up soon and hopefully get back to some crafting hobbies now that the house project is on hold.
